  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 8 slices whole wheat sourdough bread or sprouted grain bread
  • Optional: zest of 1 orange
  • Toppings: fresh berries, sliced banana, maple syrup

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, almond milk, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and orange zest until well combined. n2.
