Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 bottle light corn syrup (16 ounces)
  • 1 jar creamy peanut butter (16.3 ounces)
  • 1 box Rice Krispies cereal (13 ounces)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 10 oz bag mini marshmallows (about 5 cups)
  • 8 oz chocolate chips (about 1 1/3 cups)
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil

Method
 

  1. Spray a 13x9-inch baking pan with nonstick spray and line with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a large pot or Dutch oven, combine the sugar and corn syrup. Bring to a full boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
  3. As soon as the mixture comes to a boil, remove from the heat and add the peanut butter, stirring until smooth.
  4. Fold in the Rice Krispies until well coated. Carefully pour into the prepared pan and press down with a greased spatula.
  5. In a separate saucepan, melt the butter, mini marshmallows over low heat. Stir in the chocolate chips with vegetable oil until smooth.
  6. Pour chocolate mixture over cooled rice krispie bars and let harden at room temperature for about 1 hour.
  7. Cut into squares and serve!
