Ingredients

  • 700 g skinless boneless chicken thighs (5 pieces)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 pinch onion powder

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken thighs, cooking for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Turn the thighs over and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  4. Pour in the white wine and honey, stirring to combine. Allow the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the butter and soy sauce, stirring until melted and well blended.
  6. Flip the chicken thighs to coat them in the sauce, then place the skillet in the oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until chicken is thoroughly cooked and juices run clear.
  7. Serve the chicken hot, drizzled with the garlic honey sauce from the pan and garnished with parsley if desired.
